Prayer is a mighty weapon for pulling down strongholds. 2 Cor. 10:4. Strongholds can be seen in the news feeds and statistics of what is happening all around us. The intercessor's voice is crucial to decree God’s divine will in public policy initiatives. Representatives resolve issues by codifying or writing the beliefs and societal mores into law.
Prayer is needed as 1) legislatures write laws, 2) executives carry out or enforce the laws, and 3) judges provide interpretation to settle disputes. Each decision of authorities operates to respect God, or they rebel against God. The model of the Ten Commandments helps to look at categories of public policy issues. It further helps us to have a standard by which to measure them against biblical mandates. These are the values Fortress of Faith Int'l highlights.

Be content
Pray - Hope erases shame, guilt, and fear and moves the heart of humility to be content and accept the provision of God on the journey through life. Hope means we are not stuck in the place we were, but we tilt our heads back, pray, and begin again.
Respect: The weakness and vulnerabilities of people differ; the mind to obtain positive solutions requires exposure and instruction; and the diamond encased in the shell of coal must be mined and shaped.
Public Policy Issues: Greed, covetousness, jealousy, dissatisfaction, resentment, unforgiveness, materialism. Misplaced hope in power, position, family name, money, or physical things acquired. Creating policy for the advancement of all who fall prey to their ego, trials, or other challenges.
